MUSCADELLE

MUSCADELLE,for the bouquet

A minoritory variety in white blends. Muscadelle is rather fragile when it comes down to growing, but never the less, a great grape variety that gives lovely floral aromas.

It originally comes from the south west of France and works well for sweets and higher quality dry white wines.

Description

When the leaves have fully grown they have only three lobes. Muscadelle produces long and tall grapes that are of a pinky grey colour and turn slightly speckled once mature.

Le saviez-vous ?

Muscadelle is often confused with muscadet or muscat. The name is very silimiar and the aromas can be too.
