Ingredients

  • 1 marrow bone
  • aromatic salt
  • 1 loaf of bread
  • 1 clove of garlic

Preparation

  1. Ask your local butcher to prepare a marrow bone for you cut long ways.
  2. Take out the marrow half an hour before cooking. Pre-heat the oven at 180°C. Grease proof paper a tray and lay the marrow down. Make sure you season well with some good aromatic sea salt. You may even use flower salt if you prefer.
  3. Cook for about 15 minutes, check on it and serve. The marrow can be served on slices of homemade bread or if you wish, you may eat it with a spoon. We recommend you smother the bread with garlic before eating.

A great way to revitalize the body at the approach of winter with this delicious dish, much appreciated by gourmets.
